CHORE-TIME
Chore-Time Poultry Production Systems (PPS) is focused on designing, manufacturing and marketing equipment for poultry grow-out facilities (primarily for broiler chickens and turkeys) in the U.S. and Canada.
Chore-Time PPS is a division of CTB, Inc., a Berkshire Hathaway company. Chore-Time PPS designs and manufactures its products with a strong emphasis on quality and reliability. Since we manufacture our products in our own 300,000 square foot facility and other CTB facilities, we are able to monitor product quality carefully from software and controls to feed bins, feeding systems, drinkers, ventilation and other product lines.
We ship from our own 100,000 square foot warehouse, and we have our own research and development team and testing laboratory. Chore-Time has been a leading global designer and manufacturer of poultry raising systems since 1952 with a focus on Leadership through Innovation®.
Leadership through Innovation® is the story of both our heritage and our future. Our history of innovation includes some important firsts such as:
• First to suspend broiler house equipment for easy floor cleaning,
• First "open helix" (coreless) auger for feed delivery.
• First automatic round, pan-type poultry feeder.
• On the leading edge of development of an automatic ventilation system with mechanical inlets for environmental control of poultry buildings.
